If a puppy "key" socialization period is 8-10 weeks, then how do you do when the injection is 8.10 days?

After talking to many breeders and reading books that indicate that the "key" to the puppy socialization period is between 8-10 weeks. I have a (English) Bull Terrier puppy (9 weeks), which is known for its hostility towards other dogs if not properly socialized from an early age at the time stated above.
