English stirrups and leathers in a western saddle?
Is there any reason (other than in a strange way) can not equip leather English and running boards to put in a western saddle? It would be cheaper to replace the skins too short in my chair with adequate Westerners. It's just to ride piracy and the track, so I'm not worried about what it looks like, if somewhat impractical and bad for the horse. Has anyone tried it?
Can manipulate the running of the English saddle, through the western saddle tree, but when you slide the buckle up the seat, it will be really uncomfortable. If you slide down, it will bruise your leg. If you put it behind like western stirrup leathers, still going to hurt one way or another. The defense in a western saddle is there for a reason! Not only to protect you and your horse to go through "clean" cows Chasin ', but to protect Hardware leg stirrup. If your ations are too short, and then taking her seat to a saddler and ask him / her if you can make extensions for their skins, is schiving to the ears, connecting an additional piece of leather that has been final and make new holes Schive in the new skin. It's cheaper in the long run to make things right.
