Feeder Elevated Bowl

American Bulldog Food Bowls?

Are there special bowls out there for American bulldogs and other dogs with prognathism? Ours is 9 months old, and while old, is taking its time to eat. We have a meal in a bowl of high power, and although she is eating fast, not a gulper. I have noticed in the last couple of weeks, seems to be taking longer for her to finish their meals (though not for lack of trying). It even seems which is chasing the food around the bowl trying to get the bit in his mouth. We will not change their food, because what is working today to get it (apart to take some time to eat). ....... Thanks

I spent much time researching this, and think hard about what you can do. Really, there's nothing out there ... maybe get some food that can be formed into something like a candy bar, and feed by hand (something like Karo syrup to glue the pieces together as a Vally nature bar) ... but this is cumbersome This is something that comes with aging. I had a boxer and got us, high food bowl like you, who reduced some of the problems ... I think this ... my parents in their 80's spend most of the planning day: where, when, how, who, etc all about eating ... now that your dog is getting older he is following the same route! =) All I see is the hand saying to their children.
