Facts about Boston Terriers

The Boston Terrier is a true American Breed. The race results from a cross between an English Bulldog and a white English terrier. Gentleman's race is American nickname, because of the breeds gentle disposition.

By 1870, William O'Brien of Boston sold an imported dog named "Judge" to Robert Hooper (also from Boston). The dog became known as "Hooper's Judge," and became the ancestor of almost all true modern Boston Terriers. "Judge Hooper" was attached to a white dog named "Gyp" or "Kate" (was owned by Edward Burnett) and this union descend a dog named "Wells' Eph" who was raised a dog named "Tobins Kate." The Boston Terrier breed evolved from these dogs.

In 1889 thirty people in and around Boston organized the American Bull Terrier Club. Over time they met opposition from Bull Terrier Breeders Bulldog who objected to the similarity of the race name and claimed that this new era unlike them. So at that time, the Boston Terrier Club of America was established in 1891, taking the name of the city's race had originated from. American Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1893.

When is a man of Boston Terrier ready to mate with a female?

Boston Terrier I have one female and she is in her second series. I like his teammate at one time. My neighbor has a son Boston, 10 months and my wife took the boy, but Boston seems to have no idea. Any advice?
